Forgive and never forget

You taught me what real love is,
I cannot forget you for this
Now I find you’ve only tried to take,
I can only forgive you for this

You taught me more than you really know,
My only hope is that you realise this,
To let go, in love and hope
For you to know, the truth as it is;
This is my only wish ❤

Turn it around

Don’t give up on life

Or allow it to get you down

Everything that happens,

Is here to serve you somehow

No matter how it may seem,

In any betrayl or deceit

There is always a point where you’ll win,

Where you will rise and be free

Use this time to build you up,

To recover what was took,

To focus your own mind

On all your joy; on all you seek

You deserve the best now

You worked so hard for it

Let go of all that no longer serves you;

Allow your truth to rise within

It is your life, your mind,

It is you that holds the key

You can turn this around,

No matter what; just believe

Living Without Regret

The question of what impact do I want my life to have today and in the future often occurs to me. When I ask myself this question it allows me to check back in on whether I’m living purposely in that day or not. The above video is a great  reminder of living with this spirit.

I find there is the potential otherwise to waste  time on things that may become of far  lesser importance when were to look back on them. In this way I can aim to be living in each moment and there for those who are around me. In essence it is a sense of coming from a point of what really matters most and then living from there.

In the below guardian article titled the 5 regrets of the dying, Bronnie Ware an Australian nurse documented the top 5 regrets of patients in their last days. The top 5 she recorded were;

1.) I wish I had the courage to live true to myself not to what others expected of me.

2.) I wish I hadn’t worked so hard

3.) I wish I had the courage to express my feelings

4.) I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends

5.) I wish I had let myself be happier

Knowing these regrets of the dying can really get us to reflect on living a full life where we do not waste our time on things that ultimately don’t matter so much. For all of us it can be slightly different in what we perceive to be most valuable, asking the question what will we want to leave behind is a really good way to understand these, what will be and is most important now? Is it money, the people in your life, the experiences you have? What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind. By  knowing the answer to these questions  we can then proceed to live as much of our days from these values. Some questions I find good for reflecting on this are;

  • How do you want to be remembered?
  • What do you want to leave behind?
  • How can you create the most value today?

If we live from this place in every moment we can be sure to be on purpose, living without regret and knowing  we’ve made the most difference possible with our lives ❤

Live from the  heart

Live from the heart in all you do

Live  from the heart as though everyday could be your last

Valuing all that matters most

Knowing you do your best in all you pursue

Most of all know you wasted nothing,

That in every moment you gave your everything

~ M. L Adams

Where you go from here

We can choose in any moment
To hold on or let go,
To give or to take;
Or to allow in defeat

We can choose in any moment,
Which way we want to go
In how to turn something around,
In what to say and what to sow

It is these choices now,
That give the power that we have
The way to shape our life from here,
A way to always come back

So no matter what, when or where,
You always have a choice in your hands,
Do you focus and move forward,
Or give in and fall back?

New Year Possibilities and Beginnings

beginning

Today has been an amazing new years day, looking forward to new goals and beginnings whilst continuing on projects over from last year too. I always love new year because of the energy everyone has with the potential of what we can be and become.

It brings alive the field of possibility in knowing that we can change habits we no longer need and become all we want to be, it’s often just maintaining this energy that can be the challenge.

That’s why I believe its so important to have this focus of what is possible consistently, to always be searching for new ideas and opportunities. To treat every day as if it is a new beginning just as we do at this time,  because really it is. Everyday and every moment is a new beginning and anything is possible when our view expands enough to see all that is available to us.

The only thing that ever limits us is ourselves and our view of what is possible for us to do and when we focus daily on something that we may not have perceived possible, who knows what opportunities will come our way. I was a little disappointed at the end of 2014 that I had not achieved all I would like to have done but at the same time I know I have learnt so much. For all that is important as part of my journey and I achieved and experienced things that I never could have planned.

Most importantly from 2014 I learnt;

  • To always, always trust my intuition
  • The value of true friendship
  • The art of allowing
  • The beauty of acceptance
  • New fields of possibility I never knew
  • That any perceived obstacle can always be transformed in to an opportunity
  • The importance of expressing my truth and passion even more

New learning as well as achievements are all part of our journey of growth and the beauty in life, we never can fully plan everything. We can however be sure that when we go with the flow towards our goals we will be heading in the right direction.

‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho is a perfect example of this, and in the end it is always about realising our potential and surprising ourselves with possibilities we never knew we could find.

I’m determined even more this year to be open to all new possibilities and opportunities whilst on the journey to achieving my goals which is why this year pubic speaking and any opportunities in this area will be a big part of my goal. Please watch this space for video uploads 🙂   I wish you all the best success and lots of wonderful opportunities on your journey this year too. Happy New Year to you 🙂 Lets make this year amazing.

There is no end, only beginnings,

Every moment, is a new beginning

Keeping our eyes and heart open

IMG_9646-1.JPG

When the world is shook by tragedies such as those that recently happened in Pakistan, it can be easy to become angry in defiance or maybe even withdraw from a level of pain. Yet as understandable as this is, what I believe to help far more is to stand up from a place of love and compassion against this cruelty. To instead strengthen the level of consciousness in the world.

There is only one place that kind of evil can come from and that is complete unconsciousness and ignorance to the fact that we are all one, this is what hurts more than anything. Although hard to compare, this same thing  on a far smaller and different scale can happen to all of us. Where we can see ourselves as separate from or important than another.

We all live in our own space/ society, but the truth is we are all one and it always starts with us. We may have been powerless to those  atrocities or to any other personal misfortunes in our own life but it is never too late to stand up and make a change. To strengthen the consciousness over unconsciousness; to choose to create instead of react.

Whenever our world view whether personal or global is shook we can use it to create something new. Any reaction comes from unconsciousness, so instead we can choose to create from our truth and therefore reinforce this instead. Alternatively we can allow the pain of the suffering to send us back to sleep. By keeping our eyes and hearts open we will come from a more conscious place and therefore create a far better cause for ourselves and the world.

When we come from a place of love which is always a choice that we have, we then send ripple effects of love energy that will overpower this unconsciousness eventually because of the sheer power that love has and the truth that lies within it. Lets keeps our eyes and heart opens by standing up for all those who have suffered through sending all the love, prayers and compassion they deserve. Miranda xx

Letting go of expectations

IMG_8959.JPG

Personal growth and transformation have to be one of the most rewarding parts of our life journey. However one paradox in this is that although goals are important they can sometimes get in the way of our connection with the present moment when we are too focused on an end result. It’s a fine line to cut between not having goals and living in the moment and having goals but still being present.

The difficulty with having no goals at all  is that we can potentially drift unfocused in to things that are of no good or use, such as negative thinking or watching T.V to pass time. However having goals can equally pull us out of the moment when we become too focused on the end or on the expectations that we may have for the goal, or when we expect them to happen.

Goals are great to drive us towards a greater cause and towards growth and continual improvement, but their function, I believe should not be to add so much pressure that it pulls out of now and out of the beauty of being and giving from where we are. When this begins to happen it is the point where we can re-evaluate our goals and whether there intention is working well in our lives or discovering from there what we can do differently.

Ultimately being here and now and giving from this space has to be the most important thing. Any future expectation is irrelevant and unimportant compared to happiness in the now that comes from a place of being and living in flow. This I believe serves ourselves and others more than anything.

With our goals in mind whilst allowing ourselves to be here and now, we will always reach them when the time is right. It is always about the journey, by focusing too much on the destination we miss out on all the beauty on the way. To strive with a goal in mind and to always be enjoying the journey by letting go of expectations then becomes far more loving and fun. ❤

Being vulnerable

IMG_4741.JPG

In being vulnerable, we are true
In being true we will feel all,
We are open in all we can do
In all we are, in all we can ever be

This is scary but what’s the alternative,
To live trapped in a shell of pretending?
To say I am perfect , I am always okay
To never have any problems or worries?

Or to say I’m human and vulnerable,
Yet still completely worthy of all
If I am love;
I am therefore complete truth,
All whole, all one and vulnerable

~ M.L.Adams

Vulnerable is kind of where I’m at right now but in terms of the concept of duality and acceptance it’s reminding me a lot of the importance of acceptance in this and how it’s all one. We are all one and it’s ok to feel vulnerable to the future, the moment or wherever/ whatever it may be, it’s really ok.

This brought to mind a brilliant Ted talk which is a favourite of mine,a powerful reminder of the truth and importance of vulnerability. Please take some time to view it if you haven’t seen it. It’s very powerful. ❤

If we are imperfect beings, we are who we all are and feel and in accepting this imperfectness we are complete and whole. We do not have to know all, to be perfect in all we do. We only need to be ourselves completely, in that I believe we can serve the world our highest truth ❤
