Trusting in your Intutition

Trusting in our intuition is something we often hear of and how important and useful it is for successful results. The challenge I often found was how do we know what is our intuition or what instead is fear of the unknown.

This has been a journey of realisation for me and I have found one of the most important things is to recognise your intuition (being within you)  is very personal to you and your experience in how you learn to follow it.

With me it has taken me several times in ignoring it and then realising that I would have been better having followed it to realise the truth within. Since having learnt to follow it more things in my life are flowing far easier in the direction I want to go, not only that but I feel happier and  more at ease  in myself.

Following our intuition more often than not seems to involve going against what may appear the sensible thing and sometimes the thing we want to do, and in following it there can be some fear due to the unknown beyond it. Yet if we never step in to the unknown we may never experience anything other than where we have already been, we may never be able to experience that which we are seeking or create new possibilities and achieve our dreams.

If this is something you can relate to then from my experience I would say always trust your intuition, whenever I have not listened to my intuition it has only led me in to pain or struggle. Your heart always knows and it can very much be a head vs heart thing where it can take a while to learn to trust in your heart over your head and it does take courage, but I  know I will now always be drawn to do so and I  hope so for you too. ❤

In my words I would term it like this;

Follow your heart, it leads you to the unknown, where there are gifts you would never otherwise know.

Or as the great Steve Jobs said;

Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you want to become.

From my recent experience I also put a video up on YouTube please check it out below and subscribe too if you enjoy 🙂 , thank you  ❤

Believe in your truth

Never give up on your dreams,

No matter how difficult it may seem,

It doesn’t matter if others don’t believe in you

Believe in you and your truth;

Then you are sure to find others who will do too

Holding your vision

IMG_1560-0.JPG

When we are on our journey of mission and purpose, we can sometimes get knocked off course, at times forgetting our real mission from the beginning, or even forgetting who we are.

I’ve seen this happen to others and almost allowed it to happen to myself. My message to you today, is to never allow this to happen to you.

Stay firm in your resolve and strong in your mission no matter what happens and most of all never forget your cause and who you really are.

In any situation we have a choice of how to respond, a choice of what to believe and what perception to take

For Example;

If someone attacks us because of their stuff we can choose to react in hurt and anger or we can choose to learn in gratitude, compassion and growth. The latter being a far more powerful place to be and one that will serve you as well as the world as a whole.

We always have a choice of what perception to take and we can never truly know where another persons behaviour originates. When we make a mistake which we all sometimes do we then have a choice to correct it.

We always have choice over our own behaviour and this means everything in terms of the causes we create and the change we can make in choosing to come from love, and from our mission and purpose.

What we choose, can become a part of our journey and how we look back on ourselves within our relationships or situations. We can and do however also change in each moment and there is nothing more certain than change and the possibilities of change.

So then the real question becomes; no matter what situation I find myself in, who do I decide to be in this moment? This is always our choice as well our greatest gift.

With this knowledge and position we can create anything.
We don’t have to repeat anything and we can become all we want to be. Then choosing to create ripples of magic wherever we go.

To hold on to the past or come from a reactive place is to effectively make a choice to live there and be swayed off course. Always know you’re more than that and that your path and purpose is worthy of your 100% commitment no matter what happens.

Then nothing is wasted or lost, only learnt from, we can then instead use our past to empower ourselves and others and strengthen our purpose and mission.

Each one of us has great potential and everyone has the potential to transform. From the power that is truly ours, the transforming power that we have within, to love and make a real difference.

In coming from this space and being the change, we then create ripples of love and purposeful living. Choosing to live at the cause instead of the effect.

Hold your vision

Hold your vision,
Always believe you can,

Act with unshakeable faith,
Without a doubt in your heart

You will always achieve,
Being the best that you can

Choosing your cause over doubt,
Always holding your vision

Deciding your fate
With your whole purpose and mission

A Journey in Letting go

letting go

So the last week has been an intense but powerful journey, one where I’ve had to learn to let go all over again. This has taught me a few things,  firstly that by our nature we can become attached to something/ someone even when we think we haven’t or don’t want to. As always this is only realised once that thing or person is gone and it seems it can happen more than once too, but our journey always teaches us when we are open to listen, as we are always growing.

So I asked what is the lesson here in this, at this time, and I have found it to be this beauty in surrender. When we surrender to the pain, we open up to the bliss always, sometimes sooner than others, but always. It still even though I have been there before seemed counter-intuitive to let go as my past default pattern was to fight or resist for what is important to me, however this was before I had begun to deeply understand how we are all connected and that the core of this old belief was driven by the fear of separation.

Ekhart Tolle states that ‘All anxiety is based on the illusion of separateness’ and I’ve come to really understand this and believe this to be true. Everything in our lives in terms of belief and meaning, begins within us and is created or re-created there, therefore all we see and believe exists here. Nothing is ever lost in the deepest sense it only changes, but as human beings we will naturally desire and can subsequently become attached. However it is also true that it is in the holding on or resisting that suffering can occur.

Whatever fear or pain comes up, by letting it be, not resisting and then letting go, then peace and love are always found. The rest is just layers of attachment in what we come to think is essential for our happiness, where ultimately they are not as our happiness is always from within.

Time and separation are an illusion. By holding on or attaching through limiting fears or beliefs we can unknowingly cut ourselves off from all that is here and all that is really possible and potentially also limit those who we love. A new way to look at it is; instead of holding on, we can be in a state of always surrendering or letting go in each moment, therefore being one with each moment as it is and allowing all to be.

We are always learning and growing and I’m looking forward to realising an existence where I am letting go to each moment more consistently, in the sense of always being here with what, where and who I’m with and am. Truly then allowing a life of possibility for myself and all who I’m here with. Exciting times 🙂

Spreading wings

Some things are far better apart,
Like the diamonds that are stars
Shining beautifully there on their own,
In the oneness of existence that’s here and all around

Some things can be hard to let go of,
Yet until you do, you can never be fully grown
All that’s held back from joining you together,
Will be free once more from this point right here

The freedom that comes in your oneness, is found even though your apart or near,
You do not not need him anymore
And you know this,
It’s time to let go; simply spread your wings

Letting go of old beliefs

letting go

So often we can be held back and not understand why, we may be aiming for goals and dreams and something just keeps getting in the way or the same situation keeps re-occurring.

If you understand what I’m talking about here then you’ll understand equally how annoying it can be, especially when you seem to be doing all the right thing but something just keeps coming up to get in your way.

Just what is it that causes this?

The answer to this is often quiet simple, it is old worn out limiting beliefs that are stopping us from achieving our goal.

And why?

Well it is most often caused by some event that happened in the past where we have attached a story and subsequent meaning to it, which has then becomes a belief. This belief can either then empower us or limit us and for some time a belief usually will always serve us in some way, often as a form of protection. What then happens is that we continue with this underlying belief even if it no longer serves us, but we hold it to be true, because based on that experience and our perception we really believe it is.

The only thing is now this old worn out belief not only limits us but also affects our perception in many areas of our life and also in our relations with others. In any area we feel limited in some way or where there is recurring issues this is often the case.

After doing The Landmark forum a couple of weekends ago I came to realise some of my own disempowering old beliefs and have decided it’s definitely time to let them go. Most of all is that in the context of today these beliefs are quiet silly and not necessary for me anymore. It is only because they were developed from a young age, that this was how I perceived the world then and then unknowingly held on to it subsequently limiting areas of my life that I’ve been wanting to develop. When I realised this it was super empowering but I also found it humorous how I’d held on to some limiting belief patterns for so long (better to laugh than cry :).

To be held back from something I decided so long ago seems so absurd but we all are doing and have done this for a large majority of our time. We then effectively keep repeating our past in to our future and therefore limiting ourselves and hence why we also get these recurring situations even if we are focusing on something  different, the belief will always win somehow.

When we discover our  false beliefs and decide to let go of them  we can create  a whole  new possibility rather than repeating old patterns or limitations that are no longer serving us. Its definitely one I’d recommend considering. What old beliefs could be holding you back from your new life of possibility?

Without Time

Through the letting go of time,
We can find a way, a way that’s unconfined,
Yet it’s through the directing of our mind,
That we can find flow, a way that’s without time

It’s the paradox of our nature;
A way we may not have foreseen before
It is in finding this way without time
All becomes one, then we can overcome;
That which we could not before

Letting go

In accepting all as it is,
You’ll find true freedom from within
In coming from your heart
Through being as you are

This is your mission,
To flow freely;
To serve in all your being

This is your mission
To let go, to be here;
To live in love and freedom
