Creativity – Our Calling

I know that many of you will appreciate this so much so I wanted to share it with you,

I have until now been largely keeping my creativity and profession as a health coach separate from each other. Then after a coaching session with amazing poet and speaker George Hardwick yesterday I have realised that it is absolutely essential to bring my whole self together in what I do.

It is too often believed that we can not make something of our creativity or that we must separate the different parts of our lives, but this is no longer so. Now is really the time that we can be our whole true selves and we can bring the most value to others in doing so.

So I see this as my mission from here forward, to be my whole self in all I do, in giving and creating from the heart.
Please let me know your own thoughts on this too and check out George’s TED Talk video below, it is truly inspiring and thought provoking.

Thank you

Miranda ❤

Covering

Layers upon Layers of covering that means nothing

Layers upon Layers in our world just creates suffering

Inside & Outside; covering beauty

Covering all our deep truth &  all there really is to see

This covering only hides us from all that’s really true,

Take away all the covering & there you’ll find; The real you

Sounds like a movie but true…

Oprah Winfrey one of the most respected Black American women in the world started out a deprived black American girl in the poor city of Kosciusko, Mississippi to unmarried lovers. She started her early education in the kitchen of grandmother because her maid mother could not afford formal education. Her grandmother, Hattie Mae Lee, was so poor that Oprah often wore dresses made of potato sacks, for which the local children made fun of her.

At 14 after the death of her son shortly after his birth; Oprah was shipped off to her father Nashville Tennessee; who was strict and made education her priority…

Truth Seeing

I saw deeper with you
Through all the blurred lines that cover truth
I saw pure beauty in you
In all you are and all you do

Regardless of all surface matter
This truth has always been there
This pure beauty that lies open to be
In all that’s here , in all that exists

This pure beauty is now so clear
The greatest thing you ever gave to me
Now I see pure beauty everywhere
It’s all around me, in all that’s here

You opened my eyes to all that’s true
To all that’s here , in all that exists
There is no way I can really thank you
Just please know I’m forever grateful
For all you are, for all this truth,
For all I see now; because of you

~ M. L. Adams

Amazement

There are times in life so amazing
So amazing they feel untrue
Yet they are real, really real
There right in front of you

These times are treasures to behold
Of gifts in life that do unfold,
When you held on there for so long
Trusting this time would come for you

Then this feeling of amazement;
Hard to believe it, is it real
You held on there for so long,
Holding, hoping, never knowing

Now it’s here, it’s really here
Such amazement, it’s really here
A state of wonder, a state of beauty
Thank you so much for this moment right here

It’s really possible, its really real
Hold on always in strong faith
Your dream it can really come true,
Your moment will come;
This much I know now is so true

~ M.L.Adams

Dreams

Become one with your goals and your dreams,
Not with what all else may seem
We get what we choose in this life,
No matter what surrounds us right now
When you choose faith over fear every time;
Your dreams will come true, without doubt
~ M.L. Adams

This poem is inspired by a post on the rocky story by an amazing coach and mentor of mine, please read if your also in need of some inspiration, it’s the best version I’ve ever read.

Never give up on your dreams, effort every day will go a very long way.

You Choose

There’ll be people who judge you
No matter what you do
Good or bad, true or untrue
So why be anything but yourself, Doing that which you choose
It’s up to you, either they win;
Or you do

~ M.L.Adams

I have often felt judged in my life, sometimes harshly and others not so. This could often spur me on to do the thing I wanted to even more and at other times hold me back in fear. Now I figure that people will judge us no matter what we do so as long as you know your doing good and what is right for you, always do that which you choose.
