After practicing Jeet Kune Do for the last 3 months I’ve found myself having some philosophical insights and reflections after classes, so I’ve decided to add this as a regular topic on my blog in hope these insights may also be of some inspiration to you.
The following is my latest insight, please do share your thoughts and comments too. Thank you. 🙏
Detatchment and Attachment
Ultimately it’s about detachment, in detachment you have conscious awareness and control. You are able to direct your energy where it is you choose to go.
Find and attach as you need and is right to do, at the right timing and then let go.
You are your own unit of conscious energy, learn and trust in your directing of it. Only then can you be equally aware of where others are and what they are doing.
In order to not be directed, you need to be detached in the sense that you are the observer – to direct, you need to be in control, in charge of where you are at all times, always- knowing.
From here you are really in a position to guide and teach others because you can see all and be all- you can adapt, direct & let go.
This is full awareness from the ultimate whole – it sees all – it’s not in a fixed position – it flows, it adapts. Be like water therefore, don’t attach, be the flow, always moving, flowing, adapting and changing. Always letting go.
In letting go you find new things, new ways- you open your mind. You are never fixed or stuck but always moving as you need to, just like water.
Sometimes you may direct and sometimes you are directed, sometimes it is still and balanced but it is never fixed. Everything changes and has to change otherwise it does not grow.
Water within is always centred but it adapts as it needs to- to the environment- to the one it’s with. To learn, grow and move, it adapts, it follows. Only then may it rise and as it’s stronger it can guide rather than be guided.
Trust within that you do and will adapt and flow just as you need to do, that your energy is one, always is and always will be. Therefore use your mind, trust with feeling that wherever you go is the right way, as you are always learning.

Looking back on 2015 I feel it’s been a journey of many inner transformations, some very challenging.
However from everything no matter how challenging can come positive, as long as we seek it and change it that way. I’ve developed on my spiritual path more than ever as my faith has truly deepened. Making this even more important was at a point earlier this year I almost gave up.
The most important lesson I learnt in this was to never look outside myself. I have to regularly remind myself of this but ultimately the one who is solely responsible for everything in my life in terms of how I shape it is me.
I achieved external goals too but ultimately and most powerfully I began to truly love myself as infinitely worthy and that we all are equally worthy just as we are.
Any goals I set now always come from here and therefore i know that by serving this truth and purpose I teach it too. Nothing we ever do or achieve makes us more or less valuable, we are always infinitely worthy and loved, therefore anything we do can and should be a joy and those things that come to us that are challenging can be turned around this way.

It’s all up to you
Not everything that happens can be positive, but it can always be shaped this way,

In truth we are all whole and one, yet we live in a world that appears to function on the illusion of separateness. As though we are somehow against each other and taught that we are never enough and so always have to strive to do, be and have more.
I myself have fallen victim to this illusion of not being enough for most of my life. Now I’m on a journey where everyday I commit to this not being so; to instead come from a place of love and oneness. Where I know myself, everyone and everything are whole, complete and equally worthy just as we are ❤
Where all is whole and one
All that is, is;
All else you perceive to be happening,
Or to have happened;
Doesn’t exist
There is no need,

I’ve been studying the course in miracles over the last few months and so far it’s been a really enlightening journey, a lot of my recent posts have come from this.
The following is my most recent reflections and I’ll be sharing more to come, I hope you find them useful and enjoy;
The miracle of creation
Everything is a miracle and one as part of creation,
Therefore the only appropriate response is gratitude.
To desire or strive out of a sense of fear, loss or lack is to see oneself as separate.
To struggle then is to be out of alignment with creation; which always unfolds in nature effortlessly.
Truth opens up and creates from the space of oneness; that is our truth and exists in allowing all to be as it is.
Unfolding moment by moment in accordance with all that is, our intention creates and grows as part of nature from within us.
There is no lack, this is only fear and all fear is illusion. Create only from a space of love, where all is real, one and forever unfolding. ❤
On day 82 ❤
Illusions only stay alive in my mind for as long as I allow
Anything based on fear/ separation is illusion
Everything and everyone is one, whole and perfect
Bless all who attack me, I teach what I choose to be
If I believe in rejection I am rejecting myself
I Know my perfection when I honour all those who are created like me- everyone
Every attack is a call for patience because they believe they’re deprived
I cannot lose anything unless I do not want it and therefore deprive myself from it
Ego is incapable of trust
Projection is seeing others doing what I am choosing
See love and abundance of god in me and will see it in everything and everyone
The ego is insane, undesirable and imperfect
Without projection there is no anger, without extension there can be no love
Every mind will either project or extend because that is how it lives
The ego seeks to provide conflict- projecting it from my mind to others- conflict cannot be projected because its not shared- Giving conflict or seeing it outside is keeping it. Conflict only comes from the illusion of seperateness.
Knowledge is nothing more than dissociation- the fear is because of forgetting- when what is dissociated is forgotten it then brings about a state of peace
Peace is the denial of illusion- a whole mind is not idolatrous as everything is whole – you always receive as much as you accept.
May believe I am afraid of nothingness but I’m really afraid of nothing- when I realise this I am healed- Place honour where it is due and I am healed.
Giving up fear is the path to peace- the alter of peace is within you- idols are false- worship only the truth in all- that is in everyone*
Whenever I see anyone without the spark/ truth, I am denying it within myself – attack is actually chosen- through denial of truth.
We are all creators and part of one creator- the only truth- therefore all one, acceptance of all- unconditional love, is the state of god – the only truth- the love of god is everywhere- healing is the acknowledgement of this truth- you are not sick and cannot die but can confuse self of this only through denial.
Listen and will wholly remember who you are- any denial of your truth is blasphemous
My creations are as real as his let all creations be made of love- arrogance is the denial of love- love is the only truth- accept only what is timeless as real.
Thought system of god; is light
Ego = projection
God = extension
Show the ego all of the light and realise its meaninglessness.
Where peace is, there is the truth and in there recognise the truth
Function- love,peace and happiness
The goal of truth requires faith- everyone involved will come of peace and is peace as a whole
Only what you have not given can be lacking in any situation
Peace and faith will not come separately and both lie in each moment

One of the greatest gifts I have found on my journey so far is that of freedom, true inner freedom. I say gift because it is one we all have innately yet so many of us fail to acknowledge it, it can sometimes take a journey of realisation to do so.
This is what happened to me after too many years of living in a place where I’d felt trapped both inwardly and outwardly, now I know this truth and I see it very clearly so much so I had forgotten how so many don’t.
After having this recent insight I felt passionately about sharing it with you to always remember your freedom of choice. To remember you are innately free by the freedom to choose, no matter what. I really do believe it can be this simple, as simple as a choice. None of us are prisoners and even if you are in the external sense, you still have the freedom of choice in what you believe, and in what you perceive things to mean for you and your life.
Choice is our greatest gift and the biggest illusion is in believing that we do not have a choice.
I find it shocking now when I see what some people will accept and in effect to choose to suffer because they are in this illusion that they do not have a choice, when they really do. If you are suffering in a job, relationship or any circumstance you always have a choice. Always head towards your joy.
As Joseph Campbell stated;
Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where before there were only walls.
There is so much truth in his words and doors really do open up before you when you make a choice to follow your bliss.
When we only look externally or at the conditions we may be in, it can appear that we are trapped in some way, but there is always a choice even if only in how we choose to perceive it and this alone can change everything.
The greatest choice I believe is that of either love or fear, one on which everything can be based. In reality we are all free, we only need to choose it for it to be realised.
Your choices are the real gifts you contain;
To create a life of real beauty or pain.
