I am

I am life expressed in all its completeness,
I am beauty, I am love;
I am nature

I am life expressed in all it’s is’ness
I am you,
I am me; I am everything

It is here and now you will see me,
Look around, look within,
I am here; I am everything 💗

Resistance

IMG_8587.JPG

If you’re resisting something
Or someone else
Then you’re resisting yourself
Here as you are,
Where you are,
Right now

If you do find this so,
Then simply let go
Set yourself free;
Come back to your flow

~ M. L Adams

Unity conciousness

Right now you already are the cosmos, you already are the totality of your present experience. Your present state is always unity consciousness because the seperate self, which seems to be a major obstacle to unity consciousness is always an illusion.

Beauty is life

IMG_5670.JPG

Beauty is life when life unveils her holy face,
But you are life and you are the veil,
Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in the mirror,
But you are eternity and you are the mirror

~ Khalil Gibran ~

Life is flow

Life is flow,
A flight of joy
In rhythm, love and light,
With all that’s beautiful and good

Let go of all that no longer serves you,
Lift higher above
Then your life will take you;
Wherever you want to go

Living Without Regret

The question of what impact do I want my life to have today and in the future often occurs to me. When I ask myself this question it allows me to check back in on whether I’m living purposely in that day or not. The above video is a great  reminder of living with this spirit.

I find there is the potential otherwise to waste  time on things that may become of far  lesser importance when were to look back on them. In this way I can aim to be living in each moment and there for those who are around me. In essence it is a sense of coming from a point of what really matters most and then living from there.

In the below guardian article titled the 5 regrets of the dying, Bronnie Ware an Australian nurse documented the top 5 regrets of patients in their last days. The top 5 she recorded were;

1.) I wish I had the courage to live true to myself not to what others expected of me.

2.) I wish I hadn’t worked so hard

3.) I wish I had the courage to express my feelings

4.) I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends

5.) I wish I had let myself be happier

Knowing these regrets of the dying can really get us to reflect on living a full life where we do not waste our time on things that ultimately don’t matter so much. For all of us it can be slightly different in what we perceive to be most valuable, asking the question what will we want to leave behind is a really good way to understand these, what will be and is most important now? Is it money, the people in your life, the experiences you have? What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind. By  knowing the answer to these questions  we can then proceed to live as much of our days from these values. Some questions I find good for reflecting on this are;

  • How do you want to be remembered?
  • What do you want to leave behind?
  • How can you create the most value today?

If we live from this place in every moment we can be sure to be on purpose, living without regret and knowing  we’ve made the most difference possible with our lives ❤

Live from the  heart

Live from the heart in all you do

Live  from the heart as though everyday could be your last

Valuing all that matters most

Knowing you do your best in all you pursue

Most of all know you wasted nothing,

That in every moment you gave your everything

One of the many beautiful landscapes on journey to Scotland

Wow it’s my 100th Blog post on Journeys in Writing, I just can’t believe it, I’d really like to thank you all for being such great readers and supporters. I started this blog purely as a method to share and express insights through writing poetry and hopefully inspire you in some ways.

Life is a Journey and can change and adapt so much in such a short space of time but its up to us to steer to the way we want to go. You have all helped me do this in finding my way on my journey through supporting and in sharing all your wonderful inspiration too. Thank you.

Much has changed from the beginning to now and im sure it will throughout the next 100 posts. One thing I have really discovered is everything we experience is much better and richer when it is shared, we can all inspire each other in this way and I thank you all again for doing so too. I plan to release an e-book of inspirational poems as well as more insights in to my own journey very soon and will keep you posted on this.

I’d like to invite you all to join a webinar with the brilliant Vishen Lakhiani , who is one person who really inspires me because of his depth of being and the difference he is making throughout the world. Vishen will be leading the webinar and the first one is at 6pm this evening, there is also a chance to catch it at 7pm or at the same times tomorrow, so please sign up as soon as you can if you wish to experience it, it comes highly recommended 🙂 .

The webinar is called Consciousness Engineering and Vishen will talk you through his own very inspiring experience , the Consciousness engineering programme and a brilliant meditation experience, Please do sign up to experience it and enjoy.

Every journey has value, gifts and lessons,
The journey is where true happiness lives
It cannot be sought or held, only lived,
Lifes for living, live for the journey.

The Purpose of Resistance

Resistance

Why do we often have resistance come up when we set ourselves goals?
Is there any purpose to this and if so why does it sometimes have to be so difficult?

I often ask myself this question and at times it can seem unfair that the road to achieving goals can be really tough. Then I have to remind myself that the bigger the goal and purpose, the bigger the obstacles will be.

Why? Well the one way I understand this is to liken it to exercise training. If we lift measly little weights that don’t push us at all then we are highly unlikely to achieve our goal. We have to lift a weight that is slightly tough and out of our comfort zone and the same goes for any other goal. To grow in to the person we want to be, we need some resistance.

If we remember that resistance is there to help us grow it makes any challenges easier and if anything as with exercise we can begin to find these challenges fun. Really it is always about our journey and our growth is a main part. When we become too fixated on any end goal, this is when we forget this and it becomes harder. With this we can also then unintentionally forget feeling good and having fun in the process, so I figured that resistance is good as long as we don’t resist the resistance 🙂

Life is always training

Growth

We can not wish or hope for someone else to take our journey,
It is up to us to take action and win,
We can not hope for it to be easy, for then it will not push us on
To stretch ourselves is to learn and grow,
To be and become something far more than we are now

We need to keep on growing, to do this we need to push on
To push to be this person, this person we know we can become
So resistance is not to be scared of, but a challenge that we must take on
It will then be our greatest ally, once we realise it is there to help us win

Living at the Cause

357

I’m re- posting this as it was around this time last year and it serves as powerful a reminder right now of the importance of personal power, one of intentionally creating in each moment, every single day.

We all have far more power over our lives than we sometimes realise, it’s just a matter of choosing where our focus goes. A daily practice however always.

Much Love,

Miranda

Living at the Cause.

Oneness

All beauty exists here and now,
Beneath all form of shadow and doubt
Beneath all fear and false pretence
Lies this beauty in complete oneness
This truth we can easily forget,
It’s who we are at the core of everything
We lose this knowledge when we focus on gain,
In greed and falseness that only lead to pain,
We cover this truth with all we think is beauty
Forgetting all we really need already lies within
Here is the source, our real true selves
All the beauty we need; all the real wealth
~ M. L Adams

Let’s never forget all we really are ❤
