Is not just a gift to others
It’s a gift to ourselves; of all were worth,
A recognition of all that’s true;
Beyond illusions,
Beyond it all
The gift of gratitude is a recognition of truth;

Whether to feel good, to feel bad,
Or to be as love
It does not depend on another being,
Whether to forgive or not;
It is a choice that lives solely in your heart
This is your freedom,
This is your choice;
To decide always how you will respond ♡

Yet this only adds to its beauty ♡

How do you choose to see;
Do you see from love ,
Or do you see from fear;
When you see from love,
You will not need to hide
When you see from love;

When we look back over time on our journey
We sometimes see all the holes
All the bumps and roadblocks
Yet over and above it all, the journey is whole;
You see, without those holes,
Without those roadblocks;
You would not have the path you are on,
You would not have all you have learnt
And most of all you would have not grown so much and come so far,
So when you look back today
Instead of seeing all the blocks and holes,
See the whole,
See all of you;
Be all of you
Honour the whole journey
