A seeker of truth

A seeker of truth
Looks beyond the apparent and contemplates the hidden
What the senses perceive is only a distortion
We all look for something that is not yet in existence
Beggars look for coins,
Shopkeepers look for profit
Farmers for harvest
Pupils for knowledge
And seekers for enlightenment,
Non existence is the treasure house of God in the process of becoming manifest

You are as you were created, and so is every living thing you look upon,
Regardless of the images you see
What you behold as sickness and pain
As weakness and as suffering and loss
Is but temptation to see yourself as defenceless and in hell
Yield not to this, and you will see all pain in every form wherever it occurs but disappear as mists before the sun

All along when I thought that you were lost

I kept searching
Hoping to find you somewhere,
When all along;
You had never disappeared
You were here, shining as always
Yet I kept looking for what I never could see,
Then I realised; that this shining beautiful jewel,
