I feel, I know
I feel, you know
I feel your soul
I see, I grow
I see your soul
I see, you know
You feel it too
I know you do
My soul is lost to you
~ M.L.Adams
This poem is written for someone who I feel close to on a very deep level, this experience was also what led me to begin writing poetry, as it was easier to express in this way. Some experiences in life can be difficult and hard to understand, but each experience always has a lesson or gift within it. This experience has taught me that some things just can’t be intellectualized, only experienced.
As Helen Keller said;
‘The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.’
Lovely. I believe this (obviously; hence “Soul Gatherings”). A recognition, a oneness, interconnected…no need for words as the soul finally feels at home.
Thank you Theresa, some things are beyond intellectual understanding this is certainly one of them and a part of a long and growing journey. Thank you for your support x
